Vs Reality is the second album by UK instrumental rock band AV Sunset. The record explores ideas around perception and reality, blending lush, dreamlike textures with monolithic riffing, insistent melodic hooks and jagged experimental and progressive tendencies. Each piece of music is designed as a separate world to get lost in, every one carrying the listener through intricate guitar and synth soundscapes with clear melodic narrative and direction. Designer Gavin Singleton further developed this idea of multiple, often unstable, realities with his astounding artwork, which is full of interference, redactions, secret messages and obfuscation. The record is a soundtrack to our fractured, distorted and embattled collective understanding of what's real.

Package will include a bandcamp download code

"A beautiful collision of atmosphere, drama and colossal riffing! Cinematic, muscular and gloriously uplifing." Rebel on Wax

"A superb LP... an absolutely crushing rhythm section, guitars that can switch from intricate melodies to brain mashing riffs in a millisecond, synths weaving in and out all over the place... absolutely brilliant." Music Is None Of Our Business

"Powerful, massive post-rock... truly epic melodies and towering soundscapes." 4ndreas
